Just got back from Spanish artist Carles Gomila's triumphant first Solo show ever in the United States. The show was a smashing success, hard to tell on the internet but his paintings are huge (one nearly 7 ft tall). The show was great, and Carles is so pleasant to talk to. See the show through October at Christopher Hill Gallery in St. Helena California (Napa Valley).
The Gallery is about 1.5 hours North of San Francisco, in Napa Valley. It's easily worth the drive, and if you're in the Bay Area it would be a lovely excursion to the wine country.
