As 2012,  a crazy year to be sure, draws to a close, we're doing something extra special for Urban-Muse. We have taken 150 of the VERY best, and MOST VIRAL pieces we've posted on our social Networks, and put them agains the pieces that had the most shares and likes all year (thanks to our loyal supporters...YOU!) and put together what we think gives a pretty good idea what was the BEST Art of 2012.

Stopped by the newly opened Lopo Gallery to see this incredible show put on by Spoke Art Editions. The gallery was slammed, and there were so many wonderful paintings. Wes Anderson + Badass art + San Francisco +Halloween = Hipster Magnet. Lot's of wonderful themed costumes were in attendance. The audience at the show was half of the fun/attraction... You know how Blizzcon and Anime Expo have alot of nerds/geeks? Well imagine that but with hipsters. Everyone was dressed to the nines in their favorite Wes Anderson costumes. (some may have not been dressing up) The showing was very strong, we overheard one of the artists mention they were approached about the show over a year ago, the time spent and dedication put into this show was really apparent.

Congratulations to all the phenomenal artists involved! It was really an impressive and memorable show.

These are really exciting times because now this site is fully web 2.0 compliant, which means the site now has full database integration, and dynamically generated pages. Legendary Fashion house Miu Miu influenced by Pop Surrealism and Mark Ryden?

While in Vegas I visited City Center's new ultra high end shopping space. (I hesitate to call it a mall). One of the massive campaigns for the new Las Vegas Miu Miu store really caught my eye. It was two massive ads, and must have been 2 to 3 stories high by several hundred feet long. (much larger than a standard billboard.)
