Urban-Muse Commerce has been launched to provide our resident artists the strongest, safest, easiest, and absolutely most powerful way to sell their work to you online. We are positioning ourselves to be direct competition to sites like Big Cartel, Etsy, Zazzle, and other online marketplaces that we feel provide inadequate, weak, and inelegant commerce solutions.

Urban-Muse is not a "everyone can join, come get your free account, and post crummy artwork" situation. We are a curated platform. Every applicant accepted to list on Urban-Muse Commerce is carefully screened, to make sure the work they are presenting is what we are looking for. Many applicants will be rejected, but if you feel your gallery, or brand has some of the best work in the world, then we want to hear from you. We are looking for the best Artists and Galleries in the New Contemporary Art movement, this includes high end figurative/ conceptual drawing/painting, and street artists. We generally do no accept landscapes, installation based work, and certain types of abstract work.

Move Your Inventory

Most Galleries have old stock or "back rooms" filled with unsold items, depending on their contracts with their artists, these items can sit for years unseen, and most people won't even know they exist. Urban-Muse Commerce wants you to list this inventory with us. You will get exponential viewership and have a better chance of moving these items than simply pushing them yourselves/directly. We also want to list your new pieces part of upcoming shows, we can again provide more global viewership than you can do alone. We can also list certain items as "In Gallery only," or "Phone Orders Only."

Buy Direct

Urban-Muse does not directly warehouse physically stock most of our items. Instead the Gallery, Brand, or Artist themselves ship the item from their facility when the item sells. Urban-Muse operates by taking a very small percentage of sales, and satisfying invoices, and payments to our artists, brands, and galleries. By using this system Urban-Muse Commerce can literally have a nearly infinite amount of scalability at very little cost to us.

We believe in the physical brick and mortar gallery system, and love working with great galleries all over the world. But online sales are integral to all galleries and artists success. Many galleries have weak e-commerce solutions that can make buying/viewing work for it's customers difficult and frustrating. This can hurt sales, and can hurt artists, we feel this is unnaceptable. We feel strong e-commerce needs to augment the gallery system, not replace it. We also feel artists need to have a safe, and easy way to quickly get work to their fans for work that might not fit in an upcoming showings etc.

Urban-Muse Commerce has created a beautiful, elegant, and easy way for Artists, Brands, and Galleries to list their inventory online. We have spent a large amount of time and money on developing the Urban-Muse network. And will continue to improve, grow, and make large technological advancements/innovation.
